The purpose of our club is to foster
mutual counsel and helpfulness within the community and to unite
the influence of women in promoting education, civic, social and
moral advancement and to support the Tallulah Falls School. The
club is nonpartisan, nonsectarian, and nonprofit.
The Buford Lanier Woman's Club is affiliated with the Georgia
Federation of Women's Clubs and the General Federation of
Women's Clubs.
Our efforts are divided into six departments: arts,
conservation, education, home life, international affairs, and
public affairs. Members may join any or all of these
departments.
The BLWC has its general meeting on the second Wednesday of the
month, at 9:30 a.m., all months except July and August.
Membership is offered to all women living in Buford, Georgia and
the surrounding areas.
